Spitalfields Vintage this Saturday
As ever we’re super dooper excited to be hosting yet another Judy’s at Spitalfields. In fact this November event will signal the completion of our very first year running our very own super-sized market in the capital city of the country we live in. Jeez louise it’s been a tough year of planning ,promoting and a little more planning. But do you know what, it’s all worth it when we take a look at the amazing traders who set up shop, come rain or shine and bring along their vintage, collectables, antiques and hand-made. Here’s to another successful 12 months of Judy’s at Spitalfields. And here’s a little selection of actual sale items for this Saturday’s event.
The Vintage Kilo Sale
Bringing the most affordable way to buy vintage to Hackney Downs Studio on 10th & 11th November, this is not to be missed!
The vintage kilo sale promises to be like no other vintage event on the continent.
We’ve partnered up with one of the worlds largest wholesalers to guarantee over 10 tonnes of stock from the 60s-90s all for £15 per kilo– that’s usually 4-5 items- an absolute bargain!
Incorporating everything for women & men, from dresses to denim, tees to accessories, blouses & bomber jackets- A must for anyone wanting to shop on a shoestring & walk away with some quality vintage pieces.
We’ll be replenishing all weekend to make sure nobody gets left with any dregs! Just rails & rails of great stock BOTH Saturday & Sunday.

Joanna Lumley and her alter ego Patsy have decided to raid their wardrobes in aid of The Prince’s Trust. At 8pm on Tuesday 13th November she’ll be throwing open her wardrobe doors and giving the public the chance to own some of her classic costumes and designer outfits. Joanna says, ‘I am giving up some of my greatest treasures and happiest memories’ adding that she’d only selected pieces for the auction that were special to her. ‘I am so thrilled to think that the proceeds will all go to benefit young people through one of my all-time favourite charities -The Prince’s Trust. I love each item and each garment with a passion.’ Fifty lots of clothing and accessories will be auctioned, including the sweet Jean Muir dress Joanna wore as the character ‘Marie Jouvet’ in the 1982 film ‘The Trail of the Pink Panther’ (lot 5), and lace lingerie worn as ‘Purdey’, the New Avenger girl in the 1980s (lot 12). Vintage treasures from the 1970s to current designer wear add to the eclectic mix – including the Betty Jackson suit worn to HRH Prince Charles’ wedding to Camilla Parker Bowles in 2005 (lot 25), a calico corset she wore in the film ‘Sweeney Todd’ (lot 31) and the pink Chanel suit worn when lobbying for the Gurkhas at the Palace of Westminster (lot 17). Shop till you drop then relax and let the professionals work their magic, completing your retro look to perfection! With vintage hairstyling and vintage make-up from just £15 each, it’s a treat every budget can stretch too! In the morrow this legendary east London market will be filled with up to 70 stalls from incredible vintage traders from all over the UK, for your shopping pleasure! Presenting fashion, homewares, furniture, accessories and collectables from the glamour of the 1920’s to the grunge of the 1990’s this really is a one-stop shop for all things retro and fabulous.
