The Affordable Vintage Marketplace
Bringing much-needed retro retail therapy, prepare for the mother of all vintage markets [and then some!] 60 affordable stalls from all over the UK, with pieces from the 1900s and on are all up for grabs, with fashion, accessories, menswear and jewellery included.
For those of you wanting an interior fix, expect furniture and homewares galore! From the kitsch to the collectible, no box is left unticked!
The Man-made Beach & The Village Green
Answering that age-old question of ‘where’s the beach?’ – we’ve gone and brought our own! Featuring deckchairs buckets and spades galore kick back with a drink and take in the rays!
Garden games, singalongs and a jolly on the lawn – welcome to the Village Green sponsored by Crabbie’s Alcoholic Ginger Beer! Featuring cheap booze, fun activities [and Mr B the Gentleman Rhymer!] it really is the place to be!
One of TWO huge music rooms, welcome to DECADES, playing a new era every few hours [from the 1930s and on!]
Featuring DJs, bands and live acts, the lineup looks like this –
12pm: The Swing Ninjas – Parisian Swing to put a smile on your face
1pm: Sussex Swing Dance Classes – brush-up on your lindy hop with tutorials and a show!
2pm: Bad Bad Whiskey – Skifflebilly and rhythm & blues from the notorious Brighton band.
4pm – 6pm: Night Boat to Wigan – Soul, Motown and Northern Soul to get you all a-movin!
6pm – 7pm: Shola Sings Motown – Stevie, the Supremes to Martha Reeves – classics from the 60s from a world-class performer!
7pm – 9pm: Bint of Soul with Nicki Shaw – Glitterballs at the ready for this exclusive 70s set!
9pm – 11pm: 80s rave with Mike the Spike
Bill & Ted eat your hearts out – time travel has never been so cool!
The Blue Room
For all wanting their good times a little grittier, welcome to the Blue Room! Featuring…
4pm – 6pm, 8.30pm – 9.15pm, 10.15pm – 11pm : The Big Itch DJS – fresh from their residency at the Green Door Store, think ferral fifties and sixties music from the rock n’ roll jungle
6pm – 6.45pm – Three Missing Finks live
6.45pm – 7.30pm – Proud Brighton Ballroom presents…A selection of burlesque and cabaret from the esteemed house of Proud ready to kick-off the evening with a bang!
7.30pm – 8pm Sixteen & the Sidewinders
9.15pm – 10.15pm The Sundae Kups [soft-serve sixties music with an ince-cream twist!]

It goes without saying that we love good grub and that’s why, at Vintage Nation, no belly will be left to rumble!
For all twee-loving tea drinkers, our pop-up tea rooms will be open from 11am, serving tea in china cups, sandwiches, scones and cakes!
Filling your bellies even further, we’ve roped-in some wonderful world food stalls from all over the globe. From delicious Mexican street food to Indian to something a little more continental [Mussel Men!] no appetite is left unattended!
Hair & Beauty
Be ye Twiggy or Brigitte, have we got a treat for you! Curated by Hairport, the pop-up beauty lounge looks set to be a hive of activity, with victory rolls and lippie from a fiver! Browse I-pads and vintage mags as you let the magic happen – old-world glam in an instant!
In addition to the above, expect classic cars, a vintage circus, funfair amusements, special performances and a whole lot of fun!

Advanced tickets are available HERE until Friday 8th June 2012 [subject to availability] Advanced tickets are priced at –
Adult – £10 Children [Age 10 – 18] – £5 Family [2 adults, up to 3 kids] – £25
Following this, ADULT TICKETS WILL BE £15 ON THE DAY/ WHEN ADVANCED TICKETS SELL OUT
Transport
Brighton Racecourse is easilly accessible via road and only 50 miles from central London, as well as being close to Southampton, Portsmouth & Kent. Free parking is available on site for those wishing to drive.
Trains run every 10 minutes from London – Brighton, with tickets costing under £10. For a full list of train times, click HERE.
To reach the Racecourse from Brighton station, please follow the Vintage Nation signs to Churchill Square and take the number 2 bus.
